Benneteau
Benneteau (born December 20, 1981 in Bourg-en-Bresse) is a French professional tennis player. His career-high singles ranking is ATP World No. 26, which he reached in April 2012. He formerly resided in Boulogne Billancourt and now lives in Geneva. Benneteau is generally regarded as one of the best singles players on the tour who has not won a title, finishing as runner-up in 7 ATP tournaments.At the 2006 French Open, Benneteau reached the quarterfinals by defeating Australian Open finalist Marcos Baghdatis, Radek Štěpánek, and Alberto Martín. There, he was defeated in straight sets by fourth-seeded player Ivan Ljubičić of Croatia.The Frenchman finished the 2008 season in the top 50 for the second time in three years.
